Golden State crushes Charlotte, Memphis outlasts Phoenix in overtime thriller

Golden State Warriors put on a dominant display in their 128-92 home victory over the Charlotte Hornets in an NBA regular-season matchup. The Warriors moved the ball well, finishing with 40 assists, and missed just three of their 18 free-throw attempts. Steve Kerr’s side has now won six of its last seven games since the arrival of Jimmy Butler III. Seven different Warriors scored in double figures, highlighting the team’s balanced offense.

Buddy Hield led the scoring for Golden State with 16 points off the bench, while Stephen Curry contributed 15 points and six assists. KJ Simpson was Charlotte’s top scorer with 16 points, and Steph’s brother Seth Curry added 14.

With the win, the Warriors moved to eighth place in the Western Conference standings with a 31-27 record. Meanwhile, the Hornets continue to struggle, sitting 14th in the East with a 14-43 record.

In another action-packed game, the Memphis Grizzlies outlasted the Phoenix Suns 151-148 after overtime. Ja Morant led Memphis with 29 points and eight assists, while Jaren Jackson Jr. added 28 points and six rebounds. Devin Booker paced the Suns with 28 points, while Kevin Durant contributed 26.

Memphis remains in second place in the Western Conference with a 38-20 record, while Phoenix sits 11th with 27 wins and 31 losses.
