In the 40th minute, a defensive clearance from a corner found Marko Arnautović outside the penalty area, and the Austrian forward unleashed a powerful volley to give the Nerazzurri the lead.

Inter doubled their advantage in the 76th minute from the penalty spot. Samuel Gigot fouled Joaquín Correa in the box, prompting the referee to point to the spot. Hakan Calhanoglu stepped up and calmly converted, securing the victory.

With this result, Inter became the third team to reach the semi-finals, following Bologna and Milan. The final semi-finalist will be determined later today in the quarter-final between Juventus and Empoli.
