Bournemouth dominated the Premier League’s individual awards for January following an impressive month. Justin Kluivert won Player of the Month, Andoni Iraola was named Manager of the Month, and David Brooks claimed the Goal of the Month award.

Kluivert played a key role in Bournemouth’s strong run, scoring five goals and providing two assists in four league matches. He converted a penalty in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea, scored a hat-trick and assisted in the 4-1 win over Newcastle, and contributed a goal and an assist in the 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. The 25-year-old beat competition from Phil Foden (Manchester City), Cody Gakpo (Liverpool), Dean Huijsen (Bournemouth), Alexander Isak (Newcastle), Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace), and Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford). He became the eighth Dutch player to win the award, and the first since Virgil van Dijk in December 2018.

Iraola secured the Manager of the Month award after leading Bournemouth to three wins and a draw in January, surpassing Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), and Eddie Howe (Newcastle). It was his second time winning the award, making him only the second Bournemouth manager to win multiple monthly honours after Howe, who won three between 2017 and 2018.

David Brooks completed Bournemouth’s clean sweep by winning the Goal of the Month award. His volley in the 1-0 win over Everton was voted the best goal in the league for January, rounding off a dominant month for the Cherries.
