Ingram has averaged 22.2 points, 5.2 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game this season but has not played since early December due to injury. He is in the final year of his contract, earning $36 million, and will have the option to re-sign with Toronto or enter free agency this summer.
The Pelicans also completed another trade, sending German center Daniel Theis to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Along with Theis, New Orleans included a 2031 second-round draft pick, while receiving financial compensation in return.
