PSG reaches Coupe de France quarter-finals

Desire Doue has just given PSG the lead in the match against Le Mans

Paris Saint-Germain secured a spot in the Coupe de France quarter-finals after defeating Le Mans 2-0 in the Round of 16. The defending champions controlled the match and comfortably continued their title defence.

The breakthrough came in the 25th minute when PSG capitalized on a defensive mistake. Gonçalo Ramos won the ball and passed to Désiré Doué, who found the net to put the visitors ahead. Le Mans struggled to respond, and PSG doubled their lead in the 71st minute. Nuno Mendes delivered a precise long pass to Bradley Barcola, who entered the penalty area and scored from a tight angle.

With the victory, PSG advanced to the next round of the tournament, joining Dunkerque and Brest, who also secured their places in the quarter-finals.
