Jaylen Brown leads Boston past Minnesota, Cleveland stays perfect at home against Toronto

The Boston Celtics secured a narrow 107-105 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, extending their winning streak to five games. Jaylen Brown led Boston with 29 points, shooting 7-for-10 from deep, while Jayson Tatum contributed 26 points and eight rebounds. Despite a late rally from the Timberwolves, the Celtics held firm, showcasing their offensive depth and poise under pressure.

Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 28 points and nine rebounds, nearly spearheading a comeback in the fourth quarter. Julius Randle dropped 23 points, while Rudy Gobert dominated the boards with 20 rebounds and chipped in 10 points. The game featured several lead changes and a competitive finish, but Boston’s strong start proved decisive.

In Cleveland, the Cavaliers cruised to a 122-108 victory over the Toronto Raptors, improving their record to 17-1 for the season. Donovan Mitchell and Ty Jerome led the Cavaliers with 26 points each, while Jarrett Allen recorded a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds. The Cavaliers also remained unbeaten at home, advancing to a 10-0 record at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Gradey Dick and Scottie Barnes were best for the Raptors, each scoring 18 points, but their efforts were not enough to overcome Cleveland’s dominance.
