Despite being only 25 years old, Hakimi boasts a wealth of experience at some of Europe’s most prestigious clubs. After developing through Real Madrid’s youth academy, he was loaned to Borussia Dortmund for two seasons starting in 2018, where he impressed with his pace and versatility. Returning to Madrid in 2020, he was sold to Inter Milan, where he played a crucial role in helping the club win Serie A. His success caught the attention of PSG, who secured his transfer for €68 million after just one season in Italy.
Hakimi was an unused substitute in PSG’s recent 4-2 win over Strasbourg, a result that helped the Parisians maintain their lead in the Ligue 1 standings with 20 points from the first 8 matches.
