Pep Guardiola addressed the ongoing speculation about his future at Manchester City, emphasizing that he has yet to make a decision. “The factor to decide my future at Man City? The weather! I’m waiting for it to change, and after I will take a decision” he joked. Despite the humour, Guardiola made it clear that there is no urgency or pressure from the club regarding his decision. “To be honest, the club never put me any pressure to decide. Never ever” he noted, adding that Manchester City would be prepared with alternatives whenever he decides to step down.

Regarding his future, Guardiola stated, “I have made no decision yet at this stage. When I decide, I will inform the club and then the press… that’s why there is no news, and that’s why I don’t have to add absolutely anything else.” For now, the manager’s focus remains solely on the upcoming games, beginning with a match against Wolverhampton.
Looking ahead to the weekend clash, the Spanish specialist acknowledged Wolves as tough opponents despite they are positioned last in the standings with a single point, commenting, “They’ve got less points than they deserve.” Guardiola also confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne and Nathan Ake would not be part of the squad, stating simply, “They are not ready.”
Additionally, Guardiola voiced his support for the newly appointed England manager Thomas Tuchel, saying, “I would support him unconditionally because he will represent your country the very best.”
