Endrick breaks Raul’s record, Ancelotti calls him ‘Special’

Real Madrid began their Champions League title defence with a 3-1 victory against Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabeu, marking a historic night for their young talent, Endrick. The 18-year-old made club history by becoming Real Madrid’s youngest-ever Champions League goalscorer, surpassing the legendary Raul. Endrick’s goal in stoppage time sealed the win for Los Blancos, adding to his growing reputation after also scoring on his La Liga debut. With two goals in just 23 minutes of play as a Real Madrid player, Endrick is quickly making his mark.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti praised the young star’s talent, saying, “Endrick has a gift. He has something special. He has courage, quality. His shooting ability is something special. I was sure he was gonna score even in a short time, few minutes. He’s special.”

The night also saw Kylian Mbappe score his first Champions League goal for Real Madrid, breaking the deadlock right after halftime. Stuttgart equalized through Denis Undav in the 68th minute, but Antonio Rudiger restored Madrid’s lead in the 83rd minute before Endrick finished the job in stoppage time.

Rodrygo, another key player for Madrid, emphasized the positive atmosphere within the team, particularly his relationships with Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Vinícius Junior. “My relationship with Mbappe, Bellingham, and Vinicius is very good. Every day we are better and we are more friends” Rodrygo said, underlining the unity among the squad.

Jude Bellingham also addressed rumours of tension between some of Real Madrid’s stars, dismissing the speculation. “I saw on social media that someone’s trying to create something negative between Mbappe, Rodrygo, Vinicius, and me” he said, downplaying any suggestion of division within the Los Blancos’ squad.
