Club director Manna addressed Kvaratskhelia’s contract situation, acknowledging interest from other clubs but affirming the club’s desire to keep the Georgian winger. “He’s still under contract for the next three years” Manna explained. “There were clubs interested in Kvara, but we wanted to continue together. We’re now working with his agents to extend the contract.”
Manna also confirmed the club’s intent to secure a new deal for goalkeeper Alex Meret, who has been a vital part of the team. “We want to get a new deal done for Alex Meret, and he wants to continue here” Manna said, and also added “He’s an important goalkeeper, and we’ve never considered replacing him.”
