Cristiano Ronaldo names the best club in the world and gives advice to Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo has once again expressed his admiration for Real Madrid, the club where he cemented his legacy as one of the greatest footballers in history. Reflecting on his time with Los Blancos, Ronaldo shared his thoughts on the club’s success in the UEFA Champions League.

“People say that they are lucky in the UCL but no, they are not lucky” Ronaldo remarked. “It’s just the best club in the history of football. At the Bernabéu, there’s a different kind of aura.”

Ronaldo’s admiration for Real Madrid runs deep, having helped the club win four Champions League titles during his time there. “Real Madrid is the best club ever in history, and I was so happy to play there. I became the all-time scorer at the club, we won four Champions Leagues, it was a pleasure!” Ronaldo added, emphasizing his pride in his achievements with the Spanish giants.

Switching to Manchester United, Ronaldo acknowledged the challenges the club faces as it seeks to rebuild. “Man United need time to rebuild because it’s still one of the best clubs in the world, but they need to change” he said, noting that the club has begun making efforts to modernize. “They understand that. This is the only way. This is why they start to change again, the structure of the club, the president, the infrastructures and everything.”

Despite leaving the club on uneasy terms, Ronaldo remains optimistic about United’s future. “I’m not happy the way it all happened, but in the same way, we cannot control some points of our life sometimes, but it’s done, already done.”

He also offered advice for United, suggesting that the club listen to former players who have a knowledge of the club’s inner workings. “If Ten Hag listens to Ruud van Nistelrooy maybe he can help. He knows the club, and the club should listen to the guys who were there – Rio, Roy Keane, Scholes, Gary Neville, Sir Alex Ferguson. You cannot rebuild a club without knowledge.”

With his vast experience at two of the world’s biggest clubs, Ronaldo’s insights carry weight, offering both praise and constructive criticism for two of football’s most storied institutions.
