Juve continues to improve squad with the additions of Nico Gonzalez and Francisco Conceicao

Juventus have completed the signing of Nico González from Fiorentina, with all documents signed and the club confirming the deal. González joins on a loan with an obligation to buy, solidifying Juventus’ midfield options as new manager Thiago Motta continues to strengthen the squad for the season.

Following this signing, Juventus have swiftly moved on to their next target. Francisco Conceição has already arrived in Turin with his agent, Jorge Mendes, ahead of his transfer from FC Porto. Conceição is set to undergo medical tests this morning to finalize his move to Juve. The deal with Porto is structured as a loan without a buy option, with the Portuguese club receiving €7 million upfront plus an additional €3 million in potential add-ons.

As Juventus work to finalize these transfers, they are also making progress on other fronts. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the club is advancing negotiations for both Jadon Sancho and Teun Koopmeiners. The potential signings of Sancho from Manchester United and Koopmeiners from Atalanta are part of Juventus’ broader strategy to revamp their squad.

With these moves, Juventus are making a clear statement of intent as they look to challenge for silverware this season. The Bianconeri began the new Serie A season with a convincing 3:0 victory against newcommers Como, and tonight face Verona for their 2nd match of the 2024/25 campaign.
