Crystal Palace has set a £65 million price tag for Guehi, who joined the club from Chelsea’s youth academy in the summer of 2021 for a fee around £20 million. Since then, the defender has made 111 appearances across all competitions for the Eagles, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists. Guehi played a pivotal role in England’s squad that reached the final of Euro 2024, ultimately losing to Spain.
As the Magpies advance in their pursuit of Guehi, they are also expected to finalize the sale of Anthony Gordon to Liverpool in the coming days. The club aims to bolster its defence while managing key player transfers to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.
