Al Ittihad has secured a deal with Aston Villa for Moussa Diaby. The agreement, worth €60 million including add-ons, will see the French winger sign a five-year contract with the Saudi club. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano claims Diaby is expected to undergo a medical this week as both clubs finalize the paperwork.

The deal strengthens Al Ittihad’s squad, adding Diaby’s talent and experience from the Premier League. While focused on the Diaby deal, the club has also addressed rumours about other high-profile targets. Reports suggesting that Kevin de Bruyne has an agreement with Al Ittihad have been denied by Saudi sources.
The club continues to search for a new goalkeeper and has approached Manchester City’s Ederson, who is interested in a move to the Saudi Pro League. However, negotiations are challenging, with City valuing the Brazilian goalkeeper at €50-60 million.
Al Ittihad has already signed Houssem Aouar from AS Roma and is committed to retaining key players like N’Golo Kanté, who is not for sale despite receiving several proposals this month. Kanté is considered crucial to Al Ittihad’s project and despite West Ham’s approaches the Frenchman will not be allowed to leave.
