Borussia Dortmund’s legend and Germany’s former international Marco Reus is on the verge of signing for MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy. The 35 year old attacker has already announced that he will be leaving Signal Iduna Park at the end of the 2023/24 season when his contract expires. Fabrizio Romano claims that the German is getting closer to joining Los Angeles Galaxy with every passing minute, but there are still some details to be ironed out. The transfer insider also reveals that the proposal made by L.A-based club has the best conditions of all presented to Reus untill now. The contract on offer is for 2 seasons, through December 2025.

Marco Reus has spent the last 12 years with Borussia Dortmund. He has earned himself a legendary status because of the multiple rejections to join the likes of Bayern Munich or other European heavyweights. Reus has been selected as the Footballer of the Year in Germany for 2012 and 2019, Bundesliga’s player of the year for 2012, 2014, and 2019. With BVB he has won DFB-Pokal twice and three times the German Super Cup. Reus has played a total of 429 matches in Borussia’s shirt, scoring 170 goals and providing 163 assists.
