Real Madrid’s strategy to officially announce the signing of Kylian Mbappé before the Euros remains on tact, undeterred by Paris Saint-Germain. Despite Mbappe’s contract with PSG expiring at the end of June, Real Madrid is poised to unveil their new star ahead of Euro 2024. Currently, Los Blancos’ focus is firmly on the upcoming Champions League final at Wembley, where they face Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, aiming to secure 15th European title.

Yesterday, Mbappe spoke to CNN after winning Best Men’s Player in the Globe Soccer Awards. When asked about his support for the Champions League final, Mbappe remained tight-lipped, stating: “I’ll just watch, I love football!” The Frenchman also hinted at an imminent announcement regarding his next club. “My next club will be official soon, it’s a matter of days. I can’t wait for that, I’m happy. We have to wait just for some days.”
Reflecting on the decision to extend his contract with PSG in 2022 instead of moving to Real Madrid, Mbappe explained, “It was more than staying at PSG, it was a World Cup in Qatar… there were many things around these things. It was a big decision, a difficult decision but I don’t regret anything.”
