Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks equal their semi-final series

Cleveland Cavaliers handed the Boston Celtics a heavy 118:94 defeat at their own TD Garden to tie the Eastern Conference semi-finals series 1-1. Once again it was Donovan Mitchell who contributed the most for the Cavs, finishing the game with 29 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds for 39 minutes on the court. Evan Mobley and Caris LeVert scored 21 points each, with six of Cleveland’s roster finishing in double-digits in points. For the #1 seed Boston, Jayson Tatum was the highest scorer with 25 points and Jaylen Brown had 19, but shot 0-from-6 for 3 points. The series now move to Cleveland for the next 2 games.

On West, Dallas Mavericks stole Oklahoma City Thunder’s home court advantage by defeating them 119-110 at Paycom Center. Luka Doncic delivered 29 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and P.J. Washington also hit 29 points, along with cathing 11 boards and dishing out 4 dimes. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was best for OKC but his 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists proved not enough for the win. Game 3 of the Western Conference semi-finals will take place at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Saturday.
