Manchester United suffered a humiliating 0:4 loss at home to Crystal Palace in the latest round of Premier League matches. After the defeat the Red Devils dropped to 8th place in the standings, on equal 54 points with the 7th-placed Chelsea. With the latest setback Eric Ten Hag and his players have equalled or bettered a few negative records in the club’s rich history.

To put things into perspective, United’s worst league finish across the last decade was 7th under David Moyes in 2014 when collecting 64 points. Eric Ten Hag’s side stands no chance of reaching that tally, as there are just 3 games remaining of the Premier League season. Another negative record which the Red Devils equalled with their Monday loss is that for goals conceded, as they have now shipped in 81 goals across all competitions – the same amount as in the 1976/77 season. The team also had never recorded 13 defeats in a Premier League season, until now.
Manchester United have scored 53 Premier League goals, while conceding 55 times and they still have to play Arsenal, Newcastle, and Brighton. Their last match of the campaign will be the FA Cup final, where the Red Devils face Manchester City.
