Rising stars: CIES unveils list of U23 players with the highest market value increase since October 2023

The CIES Football Observatory has unveiled the list of players under the age of 23, who have seen their market values increase the most since October 2023. Incredibly, at the top of the ranking sits a 16-year-old prodigy playing for Barcelona, while another five of the top 10 are still teenagers.

Lamine Yamal of Barcelona comes at the top of the chart with a remarkable increase of €134 million, bringing his current market value to €145 million. Joao Neves from Benfica follows with his market value up by €73 million, now valued at €105 million, signaling his rise as one of Europe’s most coveted talents.

Girona’s Savio and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer have both enjoyed a €70 million boost in their market values, with Moreira now at €79 million and Palmer at €117 million.

Ajax’ defender Jorrel Hato has seen his value jump by €63 million, now standing at €80 million, while Endrick Felipe’s value, who is set to join Real Madrid ranks in the summer, has climbed by €54 million to a current valuation of €90 million.

Jeremy Doku of Manchester City’s value has increased by €53 million, with his estimate now set at €107 million. Manchester Untied’s midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has seen a jump of €50 million, and is now valued at €53 million.

Brighton’s Joao Pedro and Warren Zaire-Emery from PSG complete the top 10, with significant surges in their values of €48 million and €45 million, respectively.
