“I’m an emotional person, I don’t like to say goodbyes. It’s going to be horrible!” Van Dijk revealed his feelings about the last game of Klopp’s era. He understands the importance of ending on a high note, emphasizing success as their only current goal. “As captain I’ll probably speak a little bit, that day I’ll be dreading. It makes it easier if we have success, that’s the aim now,” he told ITV.
Liverpool is still competing for the Premier League and Europa League titles after having already secured the Carabao Cup this season. Despite being knocked out of the FA Cup semifinals, the team is determined to succeed for Klopp.
