In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Cancelo shared his confidence in his former team’s capabilities, attributing their favoured status to the squad’s depth, the distinctive style of play, and the leadership of their manager. “They can win two Champions League in a row, I’m sure” he stated, underlining the strength and potential of City on the European stage.
