On a positive note, the All-Star game has bounced back from its historic low viewership last year and has registered an average of 5.5 million viewers across TNT, TBS and truTV. The figure represents a rise of 20% compared to 12 months ago.

Still, the game drew an average audience of 5.5 million, up 14% from record-low viewership a year ago.

Saturday Night which traditionally includes the 3-point and Dunk contests, also witnessed a special shoot-out between Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu. 5.4 million have been in front of the screens, watching the NBA’s greatest shooter lecturing the WNBA star, significantly contributing to the viewership success.
