Dahoud joined the Seagulls last summer on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund but has failed to earn regular playing time under Roberto de Zebri. The player has not recorded a single minute on the field in any of Brighton’s five matches in January, and has not featured at all in the club’s last 9 games. Dahoud’s latest appearance was on 9th of December against Burnley when he started the clash, but was substituted at the half-time break and it was obviously the moment when Brighton’s manager had lost faith in his midfielder. Mahmoud Dahoud has amassed a total of 682 minutes on the pitch over 14 matches in all competitions for the Premier League team.
