  • A special Champions League-inspired remix will debut live ahead of the final

Legendary rock band Linkin Park has officially been announced as the headliner of the Kick Off Show at this year’s UEFA Champions League Final, which will take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich this May.

The band, known for anthems like Numb, In the End, and Somewhere I Belong, will perform a set that blends iconic hits from the past with new material from their recently released album From Zero—their first record since the passing of former frontman Chester Bennington and their first featuring new vocalist Emily Armstrong.

For the event, Linkin Park has also prepared a special remix that will be performed live exclusively before the start of the final. The track incorporates sonic elements inspired by the atmosphere and visual style of the Champions League.

“With our new album and current tour, we’ve been blown away by the energy and emotion from fans. We can’t wait to bring that same feeling to the Champions League Final Kick Off Show. This is a completely new experience for us as a band, and we’re excited to perform some of our favourite songs—both old and new—in front of thousands at the stadium and millions watching around the world,” the band stated.

The event is expected to be one of the most spectacular opening shows in the history of the Champions League finals, especially with Linkin Park’s name associated with emotion, energy, and musical evolution.

The Champions League Final will mark the climax of a season in which PSG and Barcelona have already secured their spots in the semifinals. Arsenal holds a 3–0 lead over Real Madrid, while Inter has a 2–1 advantage against Bayern Munich, with the return legs of the quarterfinals scheduled for today.
