Ousmane Dembele opened the scoring in the 17th minute after a quick PSG counterattack. The winger rounded the goalkeeper and calmly slotted the ball into the net. Just before half-time, the hosts doubled their lead when Fabian Ruiz played a through ball to Nuno Mendes, whose shot deflected off goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli before finding the back of the net.
Marseille found a lifeline early in the second half when they capitalized on a midfield turnover. Adrien Rabiot broke through the PSG defence and passed the ball to Amine Gouiri, who finished clinically in the 51st minute. However, any hope of a comeback ended in the 76th minute when Pol Lirola turned an Achraf Hakimi cross into his own net, securing the three points for PSG. With the victory, PSG now sits comfortably at the top of the table with 68 points, 19 ahead of second-placed Marseille.
