Manchester City is preparing for a significant squad revamp ahead of the next season. Manager Pep Guardiola remains confident in his ability to build another team capable of challenging for trophies, but major changes are expected as several key players are set to depart.

According to Sky Sports, seven players have been told they are no longer part of City’s plans and can look for new clubs. The list includes Ederson, John Stones, Mateo Kovačić, Ilkay Gündogan, Bernardo Silva, Jack Grealish, and Kevin De Bruyne. Guardiola values their contributions but reportedly believes their best years are behind them and that they will not regain their peak form.

Manchester City has already begun identifying potential replacements. Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso and Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci are high on the list of targets, with negotiations already in progress. Additionally, Florian Wirtz has emerged as another key target, but City is expected to face strong competition from other top European clubs for the Bayer Leverkusen playmaker.
