Tottenham claimed a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at home, moving ahead of their opponents in the Premier League table. Spurs now sit in 12th place, while United drop to 15th, a concerning position for the 20-time English champions.

The triumph marked Tottenham’s third win over Manchester United this season. They previously secured a 3-0 victory at Old Trafford in the reverse league fixture and triumphed 4-3 in the EFL Cup. It was also the first time Spurs completed a league double over the Red Devils in the Premier League era.

Both teams created multiple chances, but United failed to capitalize on theirs, with Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario making several key saves. After missing early opportunities, Manchester United fell behind in the 13th minute. André Onana initially saved a shot from Bergwijn, but James Maddison reacted quickly and slotted home the rebound, giving Spurs the decisive lead.

The victory ended Tottenham’s 105-day wait for a home league win. Before kick-off, around 1,000 Spurs fans staged a protest against the club’s ownership and chairman Daniel Levy.
