The OGs, led by Shaquille O’Neal, won this year’s NBA All-Star Game, defeating Global Stars 41-25 in the final at Chase Center in San Francisco. The new All-Star Game format featured four teams, with each game played in a first-to-40 points format.

In the first semifinal, Global Stars, coached by Charles Barkley, overcame Young Stars, led by Kenny Smith, with a 41-32 victory. In the second semifinal, Shaq’s OGs defeated Rising Stars, coached by Candace Parker, 42-35 to secure their place in the final.

The final saw Shaq’s OGs dominate with highlight-reel plays, including a half-court three-pointer by Stephen Curry and a self-assisted dunk off the backboard by Kyrie Irving. O’Neal’s team took control early and cruised to a 41-25 victory.

Jayson Tatum led the scoring for the winners with 15 points, while Stephen Curry contributed 12, and Kyrie Irving finished with 7. On the opposing side, Victor Wembanyama scored 11 points for Global Stars, with Karl-Anthony Towns (8) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (4) also adding to the total.

For the second time in his career, Stephen Curry was named Final MVP. The four participating teams shared a $1.8 million prize pool, with players from the winning team receiving $125,000 each, while the runners-up earned $50,000 per player. The teams finishing third and fourth collected $25,000 per player.
