Juventus has completed the signing of defender Lloyd Kelly from Newcastle, marking their final addition of the winter transfer window. The English defender arrives on loan for the remainder of the season, with the Italian club confirming all financial details of the agreement. The initial loan fee is set at €3 million, while an additional €14.5 million will be triggered if specific conditions are met, making the transfer permanent. The deal also includes performance-based add-ons that could increase the total amount from €2.7 million to €6.5 million.

Kelly joined Newcastle as a free agent last summer but spent only six months at the club. He made 14 appearances across all competitions for the Magpies but was unable to secure a long-term role in the squad. Before moving to St. James’ Park, the 26-year-old defender played for Bristol City and Bournemouth, gaining valuable experience in English football.

Kelly becomes Juventus’ fourth winter signing, following the arrivals of Alberto Costa, Randal Kolo Muani, and Renato Veiga. His addition strengthens the defensive options for the Turin club as they prepare for the remainder of the season.
