  • Milan parted ways with Ismael Bennacer, Noah Okafor, and Alvaro Morata

AC Milan made several moves in the final days of the January transfer window, securing multiple signings while also offloading key players. The club finalized a deal for João Félix, bringing in the Portuguese forward on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season. Negotiations were intense, with super-agent Jorge Mendes playing a crucial role. Milan agreed to cover Félix’ full wages, though the agreement did not include a purchase option despite Chelsea’s preference for one.

Milan had already strengthened its squad earlier by signing right-back Kyle Walker and striker Santiago Giménez from PSV. The club further bolstered its attack by reaching an agreement with Fiorentina for winger Riccardo Sottil, who joined on loan with a €10 million buy option available in the summer. Meanwhile, Monza midfielder Warren Bondo also arrived at Milan’s training facility after the club closed a deal worth €10 million plus €2 million in bonuses.

There were notable departures as well. Ismael Bennacer moved to Marseille on loan for €1 million, with an additional €12 million plus €3 million in bonuses agreed for a potential permanent transfer. Milan also sent Noah Okafor to Napoli on loan for €2 million, with a €25 million purchase option that could see the Swiss international sign a long-term deal with the Serie A champions until 2029. Additionally, Álvaro Morata left the club to join Galatasaray on loan for the remainder of the season.
