The Portuguese forward opened the scoring in the 35th minute after receiving a cross from Marcelo Brozović. Early in the second half, Ronaldo set up Nawaf Al-Boushail, who doubled the visitors’ lead.

Al-Nassr controlled most of the match but struggled to take an early lead. It wasn’t until the 35th minute that Ronaldo capitalized on a set-piece cross from Brozović, smartly redirecting the ball into the net. During the game, home fans attempted to taunt Ronaldo with chants of “Messi, Messi!”, but he responded by gesturing for them to continue.
