Manchester United secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage in the 23rd round of the Premier League. The decisive goal came in the 78th minute from Lisandro Martínez, whose powerful long-range strike took a deflection off Saša Lukić, creating a looping trajectory that beat goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Despite a lackluster performance and only managing one shot on target, the Red Devils climbed to 12th place in the standings with 29 points, overtaking Crystal Palace and West Ham. It marked their second league win in the last seven matches. Earlier in the week, United also celebrated a dramatic 2-1 victory over Rangers in Europa League.

Fulham created opportunities to score in the first half and came close to an equalizer in the final moments of the match. However, young United player Toby Collyer made a decisive intervention to deny the hosts.

Manchester United’s dominance over Fulham in recent years continued. The Red Devils have now won six of their last seven league encounters with Fulham. The London club has only one victory in their last 19 matches against United, which came last season at Old Trafford with a 2-1 scoreline. Earlier this season, United defeated Fulham 1-0, thanks to a late goal by Joshua Zirkzee.
