Manchester United suffered another disappointing loss in their Premier League campaign, falling 3-1 to Brighton at Old Trafford in a match from the 22nd round. The Seagulls took an early lead in the 5th minute when Yankuba Minteh scored. The Red Devils managed to equalize midway through the first half after Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty in the 23rd minute.

The second half began with controversy as João Pedro’s goal was disallowed. However, Brighton regained their momentum, with Kaoru Mitoma scoring in the 60th minute and Georginio Rutter adding another in the 76th minute, both aided by Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana’s costly errors.

After the match, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim delivered a scathing assessment of his team’s current form, stating, “We are being the worst team maybe in the history of Manchester United.”

Brighton’s victory made them just the second team in history to win three consecutive Premier League games at Old Trafford. The match was preceded by a tribute from Sir Alex Ferguson and other Manchester United legends to honor the late Denis Law, who passed away on Friday.
