Paris Saint-Germain’s highly anticipated new signing, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, completed his medical examination this morning ahead of finalizing his move to Parc des Princes. The transfer, reported to cost PSG around €70 million, includes a long-term contract through 2029, with Kvaratskhelia set to earn a salary of €11 million per season.

The 23-year-old Georgian star, who played a pivotal role in Napoli’s success last season, emotionally bid farewell to the Napoli supporters last night. Known for his flair, dribbling, and attacking prowess, Kvaratskhelia was instrumental in Napoli’s 2022/23 Serie A title win, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists.

Kvaratskhelia is expected to inherit PSG’s iconic No. 7 jersey, previously worn by Kylian Mbappé, aligning with the number he dons for the Georgian national team. Until now, he wore No. 77 at Napoli, where he quickly became a fan favorite.
