Herro turns Hero: Miami Heat’s record 3-point barrage crushes the Lakers

The Miami Heat delivered a resounding 134-93 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, led by Tyler Herro’s electrifying performance. Herro scored 31 points, including a stunning 21-point third quarter, and tied the franchise record with nine three-pointers, doing in just 27 minutes of play. The Heat also matched their franchise record with 24 made threes and set a new high with 42 assists, showcasing an offensive masterclass.

Jimmy Butler added 17 points, while Bam Adebayo contributed a near triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. Miami’s relentless efficiency from beyond the arc and exceptional ball movement left the Lakers struggling to find answers. The loss is the Lakers’ largest defeat of the season.

LeBron James was a bright spot for Los Angeles, finishing with 29 points and eight assists, but the team’s other star, Anthony Davis, managed just eight points. The Lakers are now on a two-game losing streak as they seek to recover from their latest setback.
