Neymar’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has dismissed ongoing speculation regarding the Brazilian star’s future at Al Hilal, emphasizing that there are no talks underway for Neymar to leave the Saudi club. “He’s under contract and very happy there” Zahavi stated, making it clear that only he and Neymar’s father are authorized to discuss his future. Zahavi also expressed confusion about the source of recent rumours linking Neymar with a return to Brazil and a potential move to Palmeiras.

The speculation was fueled by reports suggesting a possible transfer to the Brazilian club. However, Palmeiras quickly shut down any such notion with a sharp rebuttal from club president Leila Pereira. “Neymar will not join Palmeiras, this club isn’t a medical department” she said, taking a clear dig at the fitness concerns surrounding Neymar. Pereira added that Palmeiras is focused on signing players who are fit and ready to play immediately, stating, “I want someone who will come to join immediately, who can play tomorrow if the manager wishes. I won’t accept us signing a player who’s unfit to play.”
The Selecao star recently returned to action following a year-long absence due to an ACL and meniscus injury on his left leg. Neymar’s comeback was marred by another setback when he left the field prematurely after receiving a blow. However, this time, his recovery period is expected to be significantly shorter compared to his previous lengthy spell on the sidelines.
