Ruud van Nistelrooy leaves Manchester United, as Amorim reshapes coaching staff

Ruben Amorim has decided that Ruud van Nistelrooy will leave Manchester United’s coaching staff and will not be part of his backroom team. Van Nistelrooy’s departure marks the end of a successful interim spell, during which he led United to three wins and a draw in four matches. The former striker, who scored 150 goals for the club during his playing career, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the team and acknowledged the support received from the fans.

Incoming manager Ruben Amorim faces a significant challenge as he attempts to turn around Manchester United’s poor start to the season, with the team currently sitting in 13th place in the Premier League. Amorim’s decision extends beyond van Nistelrooy, as Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar, and Pieter Morel have also departed. Amorim, while expressing respect for van Nistelrooy and the outgoing staff, prefers to work with his own coaching team.
