Carlo Ancelotti confident Real Madrid can overcome recent challenges

Real Madrid face Osasuna on Saturday at Santiago Bernabeu as part of LaLiga’s 13th round, with Carlo Ancelotti confident that his team is ready to turn things around. Los Blancos are on a run of back-to-back defeats, twice losing at home to Barcelona in La Liga, and Milan in the Champions League. Ancelotti revealed that he has been in discussions with the players, stating, “I talked to the players. We tried to find solutions, we think we have found it. Now we have to show it on the pitch.”

Amid speculation and pressure, Ancelotti dismissed questions about any regrets regarding not accepting the Brazil job, remarking, “You make me laugh. And this is not time to laugh.” Reflecting on the current challenges, he expressed optimism, saying, “Let’s see how it goes tomorrow. I’m convinced we will show what we have talked about these days. Let’s see.”

Ancelotti acknowledged that Real Madrid is facing unfamiliar difficulties, stating, “We’re not used to difficult moments because everything has been perfect lately. But this is a good group, this is the best club in the world. We’re ready to overcome everything.” He highlighted that key players, including Mbappе, Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Bellingham, are not currently at their best but emphasized their commitment and effort: “Mbappе? He’s going through a difficult moment but he’s training very well. All of the players are not showing their best version. I’m convinced we will overcome this difficult moment.”
