Joao Felix’s return to Chelsea has been marked by limited playing time, but the Portuguese forward remains optimistic. Speaking on his situation, Felix acknowledged the competition at the club and emphasized his determination to earn more minutes on the pitch. “I knew the competition would be hard, I spoke to Maresca before joining Chelsea but I’m here to work. It’s just a matter of time” he said. Despite starting in just two of nine matches and playing a total of 117 minutes across five Premier League games, Felix remains undeterred, stating, “You will never see me stop working to follow my dreams.”

Felix also shared insights into his decision to return to the Premier League. He revealed that his agent informed him of Chelsea’s interest in August, with the move coming together swiftly. “In three days it was done! Simple!” he remarked, adding that he was eager to come back to a club where he felt happy, despite the challenging moments during his previous spell.
Reflecting on his journey, Felix expressed a sense of fulfillment in rejoining Chelsea sooner than expected. “When I left Chelsea in 2023, I always said to my family and friends that one day I would be back to the Premier League. It happened earlier than I thought!”
