Liverpool set to switch from Nike to Adidas in £600 million, 10-year kit deal

Liverpool are reportedly set to become an Adidas ‘elite team’ at the conclusion of their current partnership with Nike. The switch would mark the end of a five-year association between the club and the American sportswear giant, with Liverpool expected to finalize a new multi-year kit deal with Adidas.

This agreement is anticipated to be worth more than £60 million per season, with the final amount contingent on both shirt sales and the team’s on-field performances. The lenght of the contract is said to be for 10 years, ensuring a long-term partnership with the German brand.

As an ‘elite team’ under Adidas, Liverpool would receive the ‘authentic kit’ featuring the designer’s advanced Heat.Dry technology. Additionally, the deal would introduce the classic trefoil ‘Adidas Originals’ logo on the club’s third kit, offering a blend of modern performance gear and retro design elements. The switch is expected to take place after the 2024/25 campaign, setting the stage for a new era for Liverpool’s kit aesthetics and commercial ventures.
