Andrea Cambiaso dismisses Real Madrid links, calls Juventus ‘second family’

Andrea Cambiaso has expressed his deep commitment to Juventus, dismissing any rumours linking him to Real Madrid. The Italian fullback, who recently extended his contract with the Bianconeri until 2029, made it clear that Juventus is where he sees his future. “Juve is my Real Madrid” said Cambiaso, emphasizing his desire to stay with the club long-term. He added, “I would like to stay as long as possible, that’s my plan.”

Reflecting on what Juventus means to him, Cambiaso described it as “Тhe history of Italian football, a second family and a great point of arrival for my career.” The 24-year-old joined Juventus from Genoa in the summer of 2022 for a transfer fee of around €7 million. Since then, he has made 48 appearances for the club, contributing 4 goals and 7 assists.

Cambiaso’s strong performances at club level earned him a call-up to Italy’s national team, where he has already played 11 matches since his debut in March. This season, he has been actively involved for Juventus, appearing in 9 matches and clocking 731 minutes on the pitch. Juventus, who last won the Serie A title in 2020, have struggled in recent years but managed to finish third last season, securing a return to the Champions League.
