Juventus close to finalizing new five-year deal for Federico Gatti

Juventus are in the final stages of completing a new long-term contract for Federico Gatti, with the central defender expected to sign a deal that will keep him at the club until 2029. The new agreement will also include a salary raise, with the remaining details being sorted before the official announcement.

The 26-year-old has been a key part of Juventus’ defence since joining the club in the summer of 2022. Juventus paid €9 million to Frosinone in January of that year but allowed Gatti to finish the season at his former club before joining the Bianconeri.

Since his arrival in Turin, Gatti has made 70 appearances for Juventus, contributing six goals. His performances have also earned him a spot in Italy’s national team, where he has represented the Azzurri on four occasions since making his debut in June 2022. This season, Gatti has been promoted to the position of the team captain, and has featured in 8 of the team’s 11 matches in the 2024/25 season.
