Adrien Rabiot close to joining Marseille

Marseille are in ongoing advanced talks to sign midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer, following the expiration of his contract with Juventus this summer. Reports indicate that the club is negotiating contract terms with the player, aiming to secure the deal within the next 48 hours.

Marseille’s confidence continues to grow, as they believe they are close to sealing the deal. Rabiot has reportedly opened the door to joining Marseille, despite receiving more lucrative offers from abroad. His interest in the project, led by key figures such as Pablo Longoria, Medhi Benatia, and coach Roberto de Zerbi, shows a strong alignment with the club’s vision.

Marseille have confirmed that an agreement in principle has been reached, with the deal expected to run until June 2026. Preparations for Rabiot’s arrival are in motion, with the club already booking his travel and medical tests. The two-year deal appears nearly finalized, with Rabiot convinced by the project presented by Marseille’s leadership.

If the move materializes, Rabiot will return to Ligue 1 after a five-year spell in Serie A with Juventus. The midfielder, who rose through Paris Saint-Germain’s youth academy before breaking into the first team, played 227 matches for PSG before free transfer to Juventus in 2019. There, Rabiot made 212 appearances across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing 15 assists.
