Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has dismissed the summer rumours linking him with a move to Saudi Arabia. “I haven’t spoken to anyone. There’s been a lot of noise and news” De Bruyne said, clarifying that his summer was uneventful despite the speculation. “I expected a quiet summer, and that’s what happened. I’ve been on holiday, came back, started training. That’s it.”

With his current contract set to expire in June, De Bruyne also addressed his future at City, indicating that talks about an extension are likely but not urgent. “Once the season goes on, I’m sure there will be talks” he stated. “I just want to feel good, play good football, and this will come in the upcoming months. I don’t really feel the rush for the moment.”
De Bruyne, who joined Manchester City in 2015 and has been a vital player under Pep Guardiola, remains focused on the current season, with no immediate plans to leave the Etihad Stadium. The 33-year-old playmaker is currently with the Belgium national team, preparing for their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Israel and France.
