Juventus to tie up McKennie until 2026, still waiting on Koopmeiners

Juventus’ transfer dealings are far from over, as the club continues to make moves in the market as the summer window enters its final week. On Wednesday, the club officially announced Pierre Kalulu’s arrival on loan from AC Milan, adding defensive depth to their squad. In addition, Weston McKennie is set to sign a new contract with Juventus later today, extending his stay with the club until June 2026.

Meanwhile, Juventus’ pursuit of Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners remains ongoing. The club’s €59 million bid, which was initially tabled a week ago, is still under consideration by Atalanta. Juventus is also exploring offensive reinforcements, with Jadon Sancho emerging as a key target. Manchester United considers Sancho’s situation to be unresolved as the transfer window nears its conclusion. Juventus has made fresh contact with the winger’s representatives, keeping him as one of their main targets.

In another development, Barcelona has agreed on personal terms with Federico Chiesa. The deal, reportedly worth £11 million, could see the Juventus winger make a move to the La Liga giants.
