All four players were seen jumping enthusiastically when the crowd chanted, “Who doesn’t jump is a Madridista” a moment that resonated with the passionate supporters in the stadium.
Despite strengthening their squad with these high-profile additions, Atletico Madrid is not done in the transfer market. The club has set its sights on David Hancko from Feyenoord as their next target. Atletico’s initial offer for the Slovakian international was rejected, but the club has returned with an improved bid of €30 million plus a percentage of any future sale.
Hancko primarily plays as a left-back but is also capable of operating as a central defender.Diego Simeone is keen to bolster his defence following the departure of Mario Hermoso, and Hancko’s versatility fits the profile of the player he wants to add to the squad.
