The competition for Todibo has been intense, with Juventus also showing strong interest in signing him. The Italian club was consider a strong favourite for the defender’s signature but West Ham is aiming to finalize terms today and bring Todibo to London for a medical examination.
According to Fabrizio Romano, West Ham and Nice have already reached an agreement on the transfer terms. Nice will receive €40 million for the deal, structured as a loan with an obligation to buy, along with a sell-on clause.
West Ham is now focusing on obtaining the final approval from Todibo himself. If everything goes as planned, the player is expected to travel to London soon after the verbal agreement is reached.
