Tottenham agrees terms for Solanke, Emerson heads to Milan

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Bournemouth to sign striker Dominic Solanke for a total of £57 million. The deal includes £30 million up-front, with minor add-ons of approximately £3 million. Solanke, who turns 27 in September, enjoyed an impressive season with Bournemouth, where he featured in 42 matches across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 4 assists.

Solanke, a former Chelsea and Liverpool player, has developed into a key figure for Bournemouth since joining the club in 2019. Known for his physical presence, technical ability, and work rate, Solanke has steadily improved his goal-scoring record, becoming one of the standout strikers in the Premier League. His move to Tottenham represents a major step in his career, as he joins a club aiming to fight for European slots.

In other news related to the Spurs, they have also agreed to sell right-back Emerson Royal to AC Milan. The deal, which is reported to be for a total of around €15 million, was finalized after Emerson reached an agreement with Milan in May. Despite interest from 4-5 other clubs, Emerson was determined to join the Rossoneri.

These moves mark a busy transfer window for Tottenham as they reshape their squad ahead of the new season. Solanke’s arrival is expected to add firepower to their attack, while Emerson’s departure signals a change in their defensive options.
