Key defender commits future to Juventus until 2029

Juventus have secured Gleison Bremer’s future with a new contract extension, valid until June 2029. The Brazilian defender, who has been a crucial part of Juventus since his arrival from Torino in the summer of 2022 for €46.9 million, has made 83 appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 1 assist.

The new deal not only extends his stay but also includes a significant increase in his release clause, which will be higher than the recent one of €60 million. Bremer expressed his commitment to the club, rejecting offers from other teams. “I have rejected other clubs because I’m already at a big club like Juventus and decided to stay here for a long time” Bremer told Italian media outlet Gazzetta. He credited Juventus newly appointed manager Thiago Motta for convincing him to stay, highlighting the ambitious new project at the club. “Thiago Motta convinced me. He is ambitious, together we will do great things. I really believe in the new Juventus project” the Brazilian central defender added.
