Fulham pushes for McTominay with another bid

Fulham are actively pushing to sign Scott McTominay from Manchester United, having placed a second bid of £20 million. Although it is expected to be rejected, Fulham believe a deal is possible for well under £30 million. This transfer represents a potential ‘pure profit’ sale for Manchester United, given McTominay’s status as a homegrown player.

Manchester United remain open to selling McTominay if proposals reach up to a £30 million package. This could be crucial in funding new acquisitions, with United looking to bring in a midfielder and possibly a center-back. The sale of McTominay, along with profits from other homegrown players, could help United navigate the Profit and Sustainability Rules effectively.

McTominay himself is open to the move to Fulham, seeking more game time. However, he is less keen on a potential transfer to Galatasaray, despite the concrete interest from the Turkish club. Fulham are determined to secure his services and are expected to continue pushing to make the deal happen.

This potential acquisition follows Fulham’s recent signing of Emile Smith-Rowe from Arsenal, showcasing their ambition to strengthen their squad with experienced players from top clubs for the upcoming season.
